What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Floor Manager position at GigaParts?
Position Summary:
As a member of the leadership team, the Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily activities, schedules and assignments of the retail staff and activities to support the General Manager in achieving a profitable store location.
Overall Duties:
- Oversee staff and fulfills staffing needs for regular store hours, as well as special events or high-traffic times.
- Build a collaborative relationship with General Manager and fellow managers to consistently exemplify outstanding company culture.
- Maintains and motivates a positive sales team through communication, incentives, evaluations, training and development.
- Support recruiting efforts through attending in-store recruiting events.
- Supports store in all cash handling procedures.
- Actively listens to customer needs and resolves issues, ensuring positive and long-term customer relationships.
- Partner with the Warehouse team to ensure policies and procedures for product transfers, support E-COMM orders and manager loss prevention through inventory controls.
- Supports the Events Coordinator in executing promotional events in-store and scheduled space rental of events areas.
- Continuously developing knowledge of category products to ensure company maintains best practices, making recommendations to improved product mix and supports overall customer satisfaction in GigaParts business model.
- Maintains the highest standards of quality and service.
- Maintains overall store organizations and cleanliness.
- Opening and /or closing the store as needed.
- Embraces and promotes GigaParts’ mission, vision and values.
- All other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
