Role Description The SAP Fieldglass Solution Architect will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP Fieldglass solutions to support contingent workforce and services procurement processes. This on-site contract role, based in Thousand Oaks, CA, includes collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translating them into functional and technical designs, and overseeing end-to-end solution implementation. Day-to-day tasks involve system configuration, integration design with related SAP and non-SAP systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that solutions align with business objectives and compliance standards. The architect will also prepare documentation, participate in testing and user training, and provide guidance on best practices and continuous improvement. This role requires close coordination with internal teams, vendors, and client partners to ensure successful delivery and adoption of SAP Fieldglass capabilities.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in SAP Fieldglass solution architecture, including configuration, workflow design, and integration with SAP and third-party systems.
- Experience with contingent workforce management, services procurement, and vendor management processes in enterprise environments.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, business process mapping, and translating business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Knowledge of related SAP modules (such as SAP Ariba, SAP S/4HANA, or SAP SuccessFactors) and their integration points with Fieldglass.
- Ability to lead implementations, coordinate testing and UAT, and create clear solution, configuration, and training documentation.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Experience in consulting or client-facing roles, with a focus on solution design, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience as a SAP Fieldglass Architect, Lead Consultant, or similar role; relevant SAP or Fieldglass certifications are a plus.
