AI Product Specialist – PC Hardware

About the Role

We are seeking an AI Product Specialist to define, test, and showcase how our hardware portfolio—including high-performance motherboards, graphics cards, desktops, and components—powers the next generation of artificial intelligence. In this role, you will act as the technical expert bridging the gap between AI software advancements and component-level hardware performance. You will identify real-world AI use cases, build compelling demos, and educate both internal teams and external customers on the value of our hardware ecosystem.

Job Responsibilities

• Use Case Discovery: Find, test, and validate cutting-edge AI use cases optimized for our desktops, motherboards, and graphics cards.
• Demo Building: Build and maintain lightweight local AI demos (e.g., local RAG, AI agents, local image/video generation) utilizing no-code/low-code tools and standalone desktop applications running directly on our hardware.
• Marketing & Event Support: Support Marketing with AI hardware content, technical review guides, and live demo flows for major industry events (e.g., CES, Computex).
• Sales Collaboration: Join customer and partner meetings to explain AI use cases, address technical hardware questions, and support PoC (Proof of Concept) designs.
• Product Insights: Collaborate with Product Managers to translate global AI software trends into actionable insights for our component product roadmaps.
• Enablement: Deliver technical AI training, workshops, and hands-on hardware demos to internal teams and key partners.

Core Competencies

• PC Hardware Architecture: Deep understanding of PC components, specifically motherboard chipsets, graphics card architecture (GPUs), thermal management, and desktop system building.
• On-Device AI Knowledge: Strong grasp of how AI applications run locally on PC hardware versus the cloud (edge computing).
• Technical Communication: Ability to translate complex hardware specs and AI use cases into clear, business-friendly language.
• AI Tooling Familiarity: Hands-on experience with local graphical AI deployment tools and user interfaces (e.g., Ollama, LM Studio, Hugging Face, stable diffusion WebUIs). Coding experience is not required.
• Collaboration: Exceptional presentation, writing, and cross-functional team skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education & Experience: BS or MS in AI/Machine Learning, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Technology, or a related field—with proven AI/Machine Learning experience.
• Industry Experience: Direct experience in the PC hardware, semiconductor, DIY component, or system integrator (SI) industries.
• Portfolio: Proven history of building custom PCs, creating functional, local AI software demos, developing training materials, or delivering customer-facing presentations. (Basic coding/scripting experience is a plus, but not required).

• Bilingual Communicator: Fully fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese to support global cross-functional alignment and market opportunities.
