The Role
We're looking for backend engineers to build the infrastructure and systems that power our AI agents. You'll work across the stack—from data pipelines and analytics to real-time agent systems—shipping features that directly impact how our customers operate.
This isn't a role where you'll be handed a spec and asked to execute. You'll own problems end-to-end: figuring out the right approach, building it, and iterating based on what you learn.
As a senior level engineer, you'll be expected to make sound technical decisions, ship reliably, and help set the bar for code quality and system design. You'll have significant autonomy and influence over what gets built and how. You will also be able to collaborate with a team of other great engineers who care about quality.
Tech Stack:
Backend: Python, Django
Infrastructure: AWS, Modal, Kubernetes
Frontend: TypeScript, Vite (you'll interact with this, but it's not the focus)
You Might Be a Fit If You:
- Have 6 years building backend systems, ideally at companies where reliability and scale mattered
- Are comfortable with ambiguity—you can take a loosely-defined problem and figure out what to build
- Are ok to jump into unfamiliar parts of the codebase when that's what the problem requires
- Write clean code and care about getting the details right, but also know when to ship
- Want to work on hard problems with a small team where your work has obvious impact
- Are excited about AI agents and the infrastructure challenges that come with running them in production
