About The Pharmacy Team

Our pharmacy team is the reason patients keep coming back to Gifthealth. Our pharmacy technicians are an essential part of the team. As a technician, you will receive real world experience in a fast paced pharmacy atmosphere. You will have the ability to make an impact in many patients' lives outside of what you may have learned in the classroom. This role is more than just stocking shelves and collecting copays, it is building relationships internally and externally to create a wonderful pharmacy experience.

How You Will Help Us Improve Healthcare

• Assist pharmacists in accurately dispensing medications and preparing prescriptions.
• Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and expiration date monitoring.
• Process prescription orders, inputting information accurately into the computer system.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
• Maintain organized and clean workspaces, including the pharmacy counter and storage areas.
• Handle insurance claims and process billing information for prescription orders.
• Maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of information.
• Help with the packaging and labeling of medications for distribution.
• Follow pharmacy regulations and protocols to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on pharmacy practices and developments.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and medication management.
  
  

Requirements

A Few Things About You:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in customer support, service, or success roles, preferably in healthcare and/or high-growth startups (1 years).
• Experience in a retail pharmacy environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on details.
• Pharmacy Technician certification is required; assistance can be provided in obtaining this certification.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Comfort with working in a pharmacy and warehouse setting, including exposure to various environmental conditions (temperature, noise, etc.).
