Health Information Management is seeking a temporary Medical Record Processor to assist with in-house projects. This position is expected to continue through approximately December 2026.
The HIM Medical Record Processor will be responsible for reviewing, organizing, and maintaining protected health information and medical record documentation. This includes verifying patient identities in Meditech Expanse and/or CPSI, recording last visit dates, and accurately filing paper records for retention or destruction. The role also involves preparing, scanning, and uploading documents into Meditech Expanse while ensuring accuracy in titles and record placement.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational and computer skills are essential. The HIM Medical Record Processor should be able to lift and move boxes and actively participate in team meetings. Success in this role also requires a strong customer service focus, effective communication, and a proactive approach.
