Responsibilities
- Operate various equipment, hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to assemble components accurately
- Interpret technical drawings, production documents, and work instructions to ensure precise execution of tasks
- Use forklifts and manual handling techniques to move raw materials, finished products, and supplies safely within the warehouse or factory floor
- Conduct quality inspections during assembly using measuring instruments and mechanical knowledge to verify specifications
- Follow safety standards rigorously, including adherence to safety protocols in all aspects of production and heavy lifting procedures
- Assist in process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements for lean manufacturing practices
- Manage basic manufacturing documentation, including recording production data and maintaining accurate logs for traceability
Skills
- Proven factory experience with familiarity in manufacturing environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and use hand tools effectively
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (certification preferred)
- Skilled in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges for quality control
- Knowledge of safety standards in production settings, including heavy lifting techniques and safety protocol adherence
- Ability to work with manufacturing management systems and interpret production documents accurately
- Demonstrated manual handling skills with experience managing heavy loads safely in compliance with safety regulations
