Position Summary
The Forklift Driver is responsible for safely operating industrial forklifts to move raw materials, finished goods, and packaging throughout the facility. This role supports production, warehouse, and shipping operations while maintaining safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accuracy of shipments and receipts
- Transport raw materials to production areas and move finished goods to storage or shipping
- Stack, organize, and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA standards, and food safety guidelines
- Assist with inventory counts and documentation as needed
- Keep work areas clean and organized to support a safe working environment
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to support workflow
Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience required (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to safely operate equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Basic math and reading skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Frequent standing, bending, twisting, and lifting
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (including refrigerated or outdoor conditions)
Work Schedule
- Must be available for all shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed

- Manufacturing and warehouse setting within a food production facility
- Exposure to moving equipment, loud noise, and food-grade materials
Pay: $19.83 - $21.98 per hour
