Pay: $15.00 per hour plus tips!

Step into the world of wine at Gideon Owen Wine Company, where history meets hospitality. We're seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Tirage Room Wine Steward to elevate our guests' experience in our dedicated tasting room, Tirage—a unique space that showcases both our estate-crafted wines and a curated selection of guest wines. You will serve as both a guide and ambassador—educating guests, enhancing their tasting journey, and encouraging the purchase of wine and retail bottles.
About the Tirage Experience:
Our Tirage Room offers guests two wine tasting options:
- Personalized Tastings guided by the Tirage bartender
- Self-Serve Tastings using our state-of-the-art Napa Wine Machines (featuring 48 wines in 1 oz, 3 oz, and 6 oz pours)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead curated tastings and educate guests on wine profiles, pairings, and production
- Assist and guide guests using the Napa Wine Machines
- Share the rich history of our building and brand to deepen the guest connection
- Monitor and maintain the wine machines and room presentation
- Upsell wine and retail products with enthusiasm and product knowledge
- Handle wine purchases and POS transactions
- Serve guests appetizers and desserts
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong passion for wine and hospitality
- Previous wine service or tasting room experience preferred
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- Ability to learn and speak confidently about our wines, winemaking process, and company history
- Comfortable with upselling and guest engagement
- Must be 21 and able to work evenings and weekends
