What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Coordinator position at Gideon HVAC?

As a Customer Service Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting our staff and customers, both residential and commercial.

Job Responsibilities:
-Respond to new property management work orders within the same business day, scheduling a service visit
-Develop quotes, check warranties, process approvals, schedule repairs
-Keep customers apprised on the status of their repair
-Schedule follow-ups
-Ensure you are available to answer calls to support Service Technicians while they are out in the field
-Schedule any necessary parts for delivery
-Finalize and invoice work orders within one business day of job completion
-Prepare Service Technicians for the next workday
o Verify logistical efficiency with route
o Place first call for Technician between 8-9am on Service Factor
o Verify technician has the materials needed to complete scheduled calls
o Confirm with homeowner/property manager that the property will still be available to receive Technician
-Other duties as assigned by immediate Supervisor
Job Requirements:
-Customer service experience in the service industry, preferred
-Excellent Communication Skills in English, both Verbal and Written
-Comfortability learning new computer software
-Fluent in Microsoft Package
-High level of organization
-Ability to multi-task
-Availability to work standard business hours, with flexibility during peak HVAC seasons (summer/winter)
Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):
-Ability to sit and type on a computer the majority of the day
-Occasional walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing steps, light lifting
