Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Conduct product demonstrations and upselling to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, organizing products, and conducting stock counts. Cleaning inside & outside. Watering plants in the summer. Must be able to lift 50#
- Support store supervision by supervising team members during shifts when needed and ensuring smooth daily operations
Requirements
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in bilingual settings if applicable
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions
- Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and inventory management tasks & more duties efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
- Self-starter, reliable, organized, honest & a team player
- Basic math skills for balancing registers and processing transactions accurately
