Technical Coordinator
The Technical Coordinator creates site-specific manuals for controls and exciters installed globally at power generation and industrial facilities.
Essential Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams consisting of a variety of project managers, engineers, designers and field engineers to assemble and verify quality and completeness of site-specific documentation packages.
Quality Specific Goals:
1. Aware of and comply with the Baker Hughes, Nexus, guidelines including Quality Manual, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
4. Initiate continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement opportunities
Qualifications:
1. Associate degree in a technical and/or electronics field or equivalent (defined as High School Diploma/GED and 4 years’ experience)
2. Four years minimum experience working in technical field
3. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially MS Outlook, MS Access and MS Word
4. Proven ability to work independently and with remote teams
5. Strong interpersonal, English written and verbal communication and technical communication skills.
6. Able to be flexible and accommodate change
7. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
