FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING ANALYST
The Financial Accounting Analyst oversees the financial operations for a small manufacturing company having both domestic and international clients. Key responsibilities include conducting financial analysis and collaborating with other departments to support the decision-making process.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations: Oversee all aspects of accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, collections and the monthly and annual close processes.
- Financial reporting and analysis: Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and forecasts. Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Budget and forecasting: Develop and manage the annual budget, and perform financial forecasts to support strategic planning.
- Project Costing: Accumulate project costs and prepare job profitability reports.
Required skills and qualifications
- Education: A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in accounting.
- Technical skills: Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) is essential.
- Soft skills: Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills are critical.
- Personal attributes: A high level of accuracy and attention to detail are important.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
