Position Summary:
The Retail Sales AGM is responsible for leading all aspects of the daily operations, sales
performance, and visual merchandising for a high-volume retail location at Disney Springs,
adjacent to the iconic The Boathouse Restaurant. Generating approximately $5 million in annual
revenue, this role requires a strategic, customer-focused leader with a proven track record in
driving sales, managing profitability, developing talent, and delivering an exceptional guest
experience that reflects the premium nature of the location. Responsible for ensuring the
successful delivery of the Gibsons Restaurant Group’s philosophy, which is based upon four
distinct core beliefs: Hospitality, Quality, Value and Family.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales and Financial Performance
- Develop and execute overall strategy to achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales goals, customer satisfaction and overall key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze sales trends and inventory levels to make strategic operational and buying decisions.
- Manage the store's budget, control expenses, and ensure maximum profitability.
- Oversee all point-of-sale (POS) operations and ensure compliance with cash handling and loss prevention policies.
Boatique Online store
- Analyze data (customer feedback, sell through, and transaction reporting) to make decisions on website presentation, mark down strategy, and overall product mix for consistency of customer experience.
- Develop and maintain website standards
Team Leadership and Development
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage a high performing retail team including Assistant Store Manager, Supervisors and retail sales associates.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coach staff, and foster a positive, motivating work environment.
- Develop and implement staff scheduling that ensures optimal coverage during peak hours and maintains payroll budget.
- Lead by example, providing excellent customer service on the sales floor.
Operations and Visual Merchandising
- Ensure the store maintains the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness, and organization.
- Oversee all incoming and outgoing inventory, ensuring accurate receiving, ticketing, and stock management.
- Execute visual merchandising strategies, product displays, and promotional signage to drive sales and enhance the customer experience.
- Manage physical inventory counts and resolve discrepancies.
Customer Experience
- Cultivate a culture of exceptional customer service, ensuring every customer interaction is positive and memorable.
- Handle customer inquiries through all channels that involve the overall experience in the store or online.
- Oversee the execution of web based customer translation efficiency and address complaints, and returns/exchanges professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products and the story/brand associated with The Boathouse
- Oversee Mystery shop content and communication of results.

Education and/or Experience:
- Experience: 5 years of retail management experience, preferably in a high-volume, premium, or tourist-centric environment (e.g., resort retail, high-end apparel/gifts).
- Experience managing a $3M revenue location is a strong plus.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
Skills:
- Strong business acumen and proficiency in retail financial metrics (e.g., UPT, ATV, conversion rate).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, which is typical for a Disney Springs location.
