Gibson Roofs is seeking experienced Crane Operators to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating cranes and be familiar with a wide variety of equipment. A successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, an eye for detail, and be able to communicate efficiently with supervisors, fellow workers, and equipment suppliers.
This role is specific to commercial roofing operations. The Crane Operator's main priority will be operating the crane safely and efficiently; however, the candidate will also be expected to actively work on the roof each day assisting the crew with material handling, staging, and roofing-related tasks. Experience in commercial roofing systems such as TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Driving truck mounted crane to and from construction sites.
- Operating crane as needed for lifting and placing roofing materials, equipment, and debris.
- Working on the roof daily to assist with material distribution, staging, and general roofing labor.
- Maintaining grounds around crane and materials.
- Coordinating with roof foreman regarding material/equipment needed on the roof.
- Assisting with loading/unloading materials and ensuring proper rooftop placement without damaging roofing systems.
- Following all safety protocols related to crane operation and rooftop work, including fall protection requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Hoisting Engineer License 1B required for operating truck mounted boom crane.
- CDL License Class B for driving crane to and from job sites.
- Previous experience in commercial roofing or construction labor required.
- Ability to work comfortably at heights and perform physical labor on rooftops.
- Strong understanding of job site safety, particularly in roofing environments.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
