Gibson Myers & Associates is seeking a dynamic Small Business Solutions Specialist to represent both AUI and ClarityHR, serving as a trusted advisor to businesses and nonprofit organizations throughout the region.
In this role, you'll identify workforce, benefits, compliance, and operational needs and connect clients with customized solutions that help them attract, retain, and manage their employees. You'll work directly with business leaders while partnering with internal experts to deliver a full suite of employee benefits, HR consulting, compliance, recruiting, training, and workforce development solutions.
What You'll Do
Business Development
- Develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, prospecting, and community engagement
- Build relationships with business owners, executives, nonprofit leaders, and decision-makers
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand organizational goals and workforce challenges
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and achieve revenue targets
- Represent AUI and ClarityHR at networking events, chamber meetings, and industry functions
Consultative Sales
- Identify opportunities for employee benefits, HR consulting, compliance, recruiting, compensation, training, and workforce solutions
- Educate prospective clients on available services and recommend customized solutions
- Collaborate with benefits specialists and HR consultants to develop proposals
- Present recommendations, negotiate agreements, and secure new business
- Ensure a smooth transition from sales to service delivery
Client Relationship Management
- Conduct ongoing business reviews with clients
- Identify opportunities to expand services and strengthen partnerships
- Support client retention through proactive communication and relationship management
- Monitor client satisfaction and coordinate issue resolution when needed
Strategic Growth
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity tracking
- Prepare pipeline reports, forecasts, and performance metrics
- Stay current on trends in benefits, HR, employment law, and workforce management
- Serve as a professional ambassador for both AUI and ClarityHR
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
- Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Minimum three years of experience in business development, sales, consulting, account management, or client relationship management
- Experience selling professional services, employee benefits, insurance products, or HR consulting services preferred
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Proven success achieving sales goals and performance metrics
