Shift: Night Shift
The Welder is responsible for fitting, joining, fabricating, and repairing weldable materials using appropriate welding and fitting techniques. This role ensures work is completed according to engineering drawings, product specifications, applicable codes, and production schedules while maintaining quality and safety standards.
What Youll Do
- Fit and weld steel components using GMAW and FCAW processes based on drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions
- Set up and lay out work using jigs, fixtures, or hand layout methods
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, bills of materials, sketches, and welding symbols
- Inspect welds and layouts, making corrections as needed to meet product specifications
- Operate forklifts, hoists, welding machines, grinders, cutting tools, plasma torches, and other hand and power tools
- Verify part availability and specifications; report discrepancies to a supervisor or lead
- Clean, inspect, and maintain equipment; report maintenance issues as needed
- Complete required production logs and Quality Management System (QMS) documentation
- Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other welders and fitters on large or complex assemblies
- Perform a variety of fabrication and welding tasks as assigned

Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical or vocational welding training is a plus
- Minimum of 1 year of welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Experience with GMAW (MIG) and FCAW welding processes required
- Must pass a company weld test; AWS D1.1 (3G and/or 4G) certification preferred or ability to qualify after hire.
- Experience operating basic fabrication equipment and material handling tools (forklifts or hoists) preferred
- Must pass a weld test and meet quality standards prior to or upon hire
