What You’ll Do
- Safely operate propane or diesel small- and large-capacity forklifts within rated limits.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Move and stage materials for shipping, receiving, and production.
- Pull and prepare orders using pick lists or work orders.
- Verify shipments against packing slips and report shortages, damage, or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts.
- Complete shipping and receiving documentation as required.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse and operations teams to meet daily goals.
- Forklift certification required.
- Experience operating small- and/or large-capacity forklifts.
- Warehouse experience, including shipping/receiving, order pulling, and inventory control.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and ability to perform physical work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift and move materials throughout the shift.
- Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and moving materials.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments.
- Experience with inventory systems or cycle counting.
- Experience handling heavy materials or working around overhead cranes.
