Role Description
Gibbs Giden is seeking exceptional attorneys (with 3 years of experience) in common interest community (HOA) law, construction litigation, real estate, and/or complex business/civil litigation to join our team in our Las Vegas office. We are primarily looking to bolster our presence in Nevada in our various core practice areas. Attorneys with a practice in compatible or even different practice areas (e.g., employment, IP, estate planning, tax, land use, etc.) are welcome to apply as the firm is always looking to broaden our ability to serve clients in a wide variety of transactions or litigation matters. If the applicant is looking to join one of our existing practice groups, a basic understanding of real property, development, construction, insurance and the commercial code is welcome, but we are willing to train the right candidate. We also welcome experienced attorneys as well, especially those with some portable business. Stand-up comedians and poor golfers are also a plus for our firm family.
Qualifications
- Excellent research, writing, and oral communication skills
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop strategies for clients
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Licensure to practice law in Nevada
- Experience in one or more of our core practice areas (especially HOA, construction, real esate, commercial litigation, etc.) is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues
- Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
Pay Range
$150,000 - $200,000 (depending on experience). Actual pay may vary based on a variety of factors, including applicable experience.
