Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
- Handle food preparation tasks including dough stretching, topping assembly, and ingredient portioning
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including pizza ovens, mixers, and knives with precision
- Ensure all food handling practices meet health regulations and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to deliver prompt, friendly service that exceeds customer expectations
- Closing duties including sweeping, mopping, and dishes. Date and label food and ensure food is properly put away for the evening
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable
- Proven culinary experience in pizza making or fine dining environments
- Strong food preparation and cooking skills, with excellent knife handling abilities
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail
