The Design Intern supports the Creative team in bringing visual ideas to life across digital, social, print, and experiential platforms. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with account teams to produce clean, engaging, brand-aligned assets that support client campaigns and internal creative needs
- Create content for various client's social media accounts, including but not limited to; Instagram stories, animated graphics, social posters, hand drawn graphics, etc.
- Collaborate with the Digital Intern to plan and curate social media content calendars
- Assist with general administrative and production tasks as needed
- Design knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of typography, design principles, storytelling techniques, and the ability to monitor and incorporate design trends effectively.
- Adobe Creative Suite proficiency: Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, with a particular emphasis on Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Experience with Premiere, After Effects, photography, videography, and digital production is considered a valuable asset
- Graphic and Digital Design experience: Possess a minimum of two (2 ) years of graphic and digital design experience, preferably in an agency setting.
- Preferred majors include Design, Graphic Design, Advertising, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in the principles of design and creativity.
- Set to graduate from an accredited college or university in the next academic year
- Must have access to reliable transportation and valid driver license
- Experience in photography, videography, and/or motion graphics
- Strong aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Proficient in Google Suite and familiar with social media platforms
- Ability to work independently and collaborate well with others
- Strong problem solving capabilities
- Self-motivated with a drive to set and achieve personal goals
- Demonstrates initiative in learning industry knowledge and terminology
- Sitting 85% of the time, standing 15% of the time
- Working hours vary within window of 9:00 AM CST - 6:00 PM CST, Mondays - Fridays
- Availability to work as needed on nights and weekends
- Ability to lift 20-50 lbs
- Regular use of hands and fingers for computer use
- Everyday use of vision and auditory senses, including exposure to blue light from computers
- Work primarily indoors in an environmentally controlled setting
- Daily communication with peers, media, and clients
- Ability to maintain cognitive thinking and logical reasoning
