We’re looking for a Construction Sales Representative who can sell projects and help guide them from concept to completion. This role blends sales, project coordination, budgeting, and client communication. Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Client Engagement
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with homeowners, partners, and industry professionals.
- Prepare proposals, attend client meetings, and develop accurate project bids.
- Serve as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle; from the first meeting to final walkthrough.
- Clearly explain contract terms, project timelines, and technical details to clients and subcontractors.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with vendors and subcontractors to align with project goals.
Project Coordination & Oversight
- Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, and budgets to ensure on-time, on budget delivery.
- Provide detailed updates and progress reports through the company CRM (e.g., JobTread).
- Adjust scopes and schedules as needed while maintaining transparency with clients.
- Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and federal building regulations.
- Coordinate safety inspections and manage compliance issues.
- Anticipate challenges such as delays or cost changes and proactively resolve them.
Vendor Management
- Maintain strong relationships with external vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure scopes are clearly communicated to the Production team.
- Track vendor performance and address any issues related to execution or compliance.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 2 years in construction sales, project coordination, or a related role.
- Education: Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, but not required.
- Software: Experience with construction/project tools such as JobTread, Xactimate, Hover, BuilderTrend, or Procore, plus MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Sales Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with construction processes, cost estimation, and building codes.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues early and create practical solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills across clients, contractors, and internal teams.
