You'll be the friendly person who assists doctors during appointments and helps our patients feel comfortable. This is a great opportunity for an emerging dentistry professional to learn more about the orthodontic field and make a positive difference while doing it! You will:Follow the doctors' directions and assist during braces and aligner adjustment appointmentsTake accurate X-rays, intraoral scans, and other diagnostic photosSterilize tools and reset rooms between appointmentsEducate patients on at-home dental and braces careInterested in becoming our Orthodontic Assistant? You'll need at least one of the following:X-ray certificationOA certificationRDA license (or in current pursuit of one)We're also looking for:Excellent communication skillsAbility to connect with patients and help them feel at easeAbility to float between our Sacramento, West Sacramento, and Davis officesAdaptable and helpful team spiritGenuine love for the dentistry field and a real desire to help others!2 years of orthodontic assisting experience would be ideal!
