What is a Salon Coordinator?
- Our Salon Coordinators' primary task is to schedule appointments for all service providers, and are responsible for developing/maintaining a rapport between staff members to maximize teamwork and efficiency. Our Front Desk Team must be knowledgeable on products and services and answer guest questions and concerns with ease.
Responsibilities and Duties
Our Salon Coordinators' are individuals who act with care and integrity and express great discern in navigating guest needs and concerns. Our front desk staff are not just sales-associates - they are GC experts in Aveda services and products. We add value to our relationships with our guests.
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE AND WEEKENDS REQUIRED
This position is for Part-time hours - 16-24 hours per week.
We require our front desk team to all be trained to work opening and closing shifts. As early as 7am and as late as 8:30pm. Applicants with limited availability will not be considered for positions. Pre-scheduled time off must be discussed prior to hire. New hires are not granted time off or special scheduling requests within the first 90-days of employment.
General Responsibilities and Duties
Opening or Closing salon (key-holder)
- assist in retail sales
- manage incoming calls and confirm appointments
- Conduct Phone Consultations for New Guests and add info to appointment notes
- Review our cancellation policy & collect Credit Card information in our secure terminal for all New Guests and as-needed for existing guests
- developing/maintaining rapport between staff members to maximize teamwork and efficiency (lots of note-taking and passsing)
- scheduling all appointments for service providers
- answering guest inquiries / concerns, including pricing, general timing for appointments, facts about service providers, and product questions
- assist with New Guest follow-up calls
- keeping the sales floor clean, stocking, and organized
- maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products and GC/Aveda promotions
- Assist with training future teammates
