Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hardscape Crew Member to join our hardscaping crew. The ideal candidate has knowledge of hardscape construction techniques, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, fire pits, outdoor kitchens, driveways, and other hardscape features
- Has an understanding of reading landscape and hardscape design plans
- Ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and according to specifications
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment (skid steers, compactors, saws, etc.)
- Enforce safety standards and company policies
- Maintain accurate daily job logs and time tracking
Qualifications
- 1 year of hardscape installation experience or have a strong knowledge of hardscaping
- Some understanding of grading, drainage, base preparation, and paver installation
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
- Some experience with natural stone, concrete pavers, retaining wall systems, and masonry
- Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus, DOT medical card required)
- Hoisting license required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
