The Responsibilities of the position are as follows:
- Preparation of individual, partnership, corporate, fiduciary, and tax-exempt entity tax returns
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles and month-end close processes
- Preparation and/or review of tax projections, sales tax returns, and other tax forms
- Assist Partners with tax audits including responding to tax notices, corresponding with auditors, and organizing client files
- Tax research related to more complex tax situations and/or changes in tax law
- Communicate directly with clients to serve specific needs and identify potential value-added solutions
- Work directly with partners and colleagues to maximize firm efficiency and act as an internal resource based on knowledge and experience.
- Manage time effectively. This includes the ability to manage multiple engagements at one time and meet deadlines.
- Possess strong computer skills, including the ability to work with ProSystems Engagement and Microsoft Office.
- Effectively supervise and lead team of senior and staff level associates.
- Mentoring and teaching younger staff.
Desired Skills and Experience Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of solid tax experience gained within a public accounting firm with very little job movement.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA required.
- Master of Taxation a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational techniques are required.
- Must be highly motivated and experienced in managing multiple client engagements.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Positions can be onsite or hybrid, no remote positions will be considered at this time.

Salary : $70,000 - $140,000
