Responsibilities

• Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems, including cameras and access control systems, to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property, including buildings, outdoor areas, and restricted zones, to maintain physical security and identify potential hazards.
• Manage access control by verifying identities, performing background checks on visitors or contractors, and issuing security badges or permits.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations by following established procedures for fire safety, medical emergencies (including first aid and CPR), or security incidents.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities with clarity and accuracy for future review.
• Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary to support security operations or emergency responses.
• Engage in conflict de-escalation techniques to manage disputes calmly while maintaining safety for all parties involved.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of surveillance technology, CCTV operation, access control systems, and emergency response procedures.
• Certification in first aid, CPR/AED operation, and familiarity with fire extinguisher handling are preferred.
• Ability to perform background checks and conduct thorough security screenings with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for incident report writing, conflict management, and customer service interactions.
• Physical fitness to perform patrolling duties, including standing for extended periods and heavy lifting when required.
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure while managing conflicts or emergency situations effectively.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
