We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our specialized gastroenterology practice.
Part-Time or Full-Time Option
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs, to diagnose GI conditions accurately.
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements.
- Manage acute and chronic GI conditions
- Document medical records accurately using EHR (E-Clinical Works), ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide patient education on disease management, nutrition, medication administration, and lifestyle modifications.
Requirements
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the State of Delaware
- Proficiency in EHR systems
- Knowledge of Coding (ICD-10) and drug enforcement regulations (DEA)
- Strong clinical skills in patient assessment
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
