Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Endoscopy Technician for a full-time, on-site position located in Hinsdale, IL. As an Endoscopy Technician, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining endoscopic equipment, assisting with endoscopic procedures, supporting sterilization processes, and adhering to safety and infection control protocols. Your role will involve assisting healthcare providers and ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in Endoscopy procedures and equipment
- Experience in Sterilization processes and understanding of infection control standards
- Familiarity with Surgical Technology and Medical Assisting
- Basic knowledge of general Medicine and patient care protocols
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal communication and teamwork abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in Endoscopy, Surgical Technology, or Medical Assisting is a plus
- Healthcare experience, especially in outpatient gastroenterology, is beneficial
