Job Details

• Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8:00am-12:00pm, July 1st-July 31st
• Location: Elementary School in Norristown
• Pay: $39/hr (W2 employer and weekly pay)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duties: The role involves supporting a non-verbal student with complex medical and behavioral needs. The student has a seizure care plan and has experienced increased seizure activity, along with side effects from a new medication including tremors, irritability, and fatigue. The student also has a history of cyclical migraines and vomiting, requiring a nasal rescue medication and frequent hydration, which leads to increased urination. Support is needed with toileting and self-care, including frequent pull-up changes and toilet training. The student is a fall risk and requires help navigating stairs, hallways, and transitions. Additional responsibilities include assistance with feeding, preventing mouthing of inedible objects, and supporting simple academic tasks such as matching, sorting, and imitation. Staff should also be comfortable managing behaviors related to communication breakdowns, such as crying or swatting.
  
  

Job Requirements

• RN license
• Pediatric and or school experience required
