Job Summary:

The Bindery Machine Helper aids in the production of materials in the bindery by staging and moving materials. Catching off folders, helping load machine pockets and keep binding machines running by off loading product and generally helping out machine operators throughout the bindery. The Bindery Machine Helper performs any bindery tasks which cannot be performed by machine and must be performed by hand such as catching, collating, drilling, shrink wrapping or hand feeding a machine. May include lifting up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities and Duties:

·       Read and understand the job ticket

·       Understand customer quality requirements

·       Follow Company safety rules and procedures

·       Manual dexterity and patience in performing repetitive tasks

·       Ability to jog and prepare paper & stacking printing prior to and after bindery processing

·       Lift up to 30 lbs.

·       Ability to stand for long periods

·       Accurate hand collating

·       Accurate hand product insertion

·       Keeping product organized

·       Shrink wrapping product
