Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and hands-on Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee and support the daily operations of our warehouse.
This position is ideal for someone who has warehouse experience, communicates well with customers and employees, and is willing to assist with physical warehouse work when needed. The Warehouse Operations Supervisor will help coordinate container unloading, order preparation, shipping, inventory, employee hours, and other warehouse-related responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and assist with unloading shipping containers and incoming deliveries
- Organize daily warehouse operations and assign work to warehouse employees
- Prepare, verify, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and on time
- Coordinate local pickups, freight shipments, and outbound deliveries
- Communicate with customers regarding order pickups, delivery schedules, missing items, or shipping issues
- Verify products, quantities, and paperwork before orders leave the warehouse
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report damaged, missing, or incorrect products
- Check employee working hours, attendance, overtime, and payroll-related information
- Submit accurate employee time records to management for payroll processing
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Monitor warehouse supplies, equipment, pallets, packaging materials, and shipping documents
- Assist management with resolving warehouse, shipping, inventory, and customer service issues
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, shipping, logistics, or inventory experience preferred
- Previous leadership or warehouse supervision experience is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills, including email, Excel, order records, and shipping documents
- Ability to review employee time records and basic payroll information accurately
- Ability to operate or learn to operate warehouse equipment
- Forklift experience or certification is preferred
- Valid driver’s license is preferred
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse work throughout the workday
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Skills
- Experience with freight carriers, pallet shipments, bills of lading, and delivery appointments
- Experience handling customer pickups and communicating with business customers
- Experience with inventory management or warehouse management systems
- Bilingual English and Spanish or English and Chinese is a plus, but not required
