Project Manager - Contract Position

Location: New York City (remote, but must be able to attend local shoots)

Type: Full-time

Contract Rate: $6,000/month

Ghostrobot is seeking a Production Manager to support social-first content production across multiple projects simultaneously. This project management role is ideal for someone early in their career who’s organized, proactive, and excited to learn and grow.

You’ll be the point person managing and coordinating small, fast-moving social teams and content creators, helping keep projects on track from kickoff through delivery. You’ll act as the connective tissue between creators, production partners, clients, and executive producers—handling schedules, budgets, assets, and communication. You’ll also occasionally jump into light video editing when needed.

• Support production across multiple social-first projects simultaneously
• Help build budgets and schedules for new work
• Manage schedules, timelines, and deliverables for active projects
• Help organize shoots, assets, and production logistics
• Track notes, revisions, and approvals
• Communicate clearly with creators, producers, and clients
• Flag issues early and help solve problems before they escalate
• Keep projects organized, moving forward, and aligned

• Entry-level experience in production, project management, media, or related fields
• (freelance, school, or personal projects all count)
• Working knowledge of production and post-production workflows, with some hands-on experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• You’re a Google Workspace ninja (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendars)
• Clear, professional communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once
• A strong self-starter mindset — you take ownership and follow through

• Experience with social or digital content
• Familiarity with creator-led or small-team workflows
• Interest in branded content, advertising, or creative production

The contract rate for this role is $6,000/month, and we don’t have flexibility on that. Please be realistic about whether this role is right for you.

This position is best suited for someone with production and post-production experience who is focused on learning, building experience, and growing quickly. You’ll have real responsibility, hands-on exposure to client work, and the opportunity to grow with the company. There is room for advancement and future roles at Ghost Robot.
