What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Assistant position at GHK Company?

Seeking an exceptional Personal Assistant for family office located in a non-urban area. Our candidate must have an outstanding memory, high level of English proficiency, positive personality, eye for detail, work with and help coordinate a team, a good sense of humor is always helpful.

This position’s daily duties are focused upon the professional, administrative, and personal needs of our clients and include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage and screen all communication for employer: e-mails, phone calls, messages, visitors.
  • Transcribe speeches, e-mails, memos, articles.
  • Manage employer’s professional and social calendar.
  • Make and maintain all travel arrangements, both domestic and international.
  • Plan and organize events for social and professional functions.
  • Liaise with the corporate headquarters in another city.
  • Work closely with household staff to ensure the smooth running of the estate and help out when necessary.
  • Keep meticulous records and maintain an organized filing system.

This candidate will be a member of a family-run team and must have a willingness to accommodate as well as the desire to jump in when necessary: there is no task too small or too large.

Our candidate MUST have outstanding oral and written communication skills and have the ability to transcribe and proofread with a high level of accuracy. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask are imperative, as well as the ability to work well independently and without guidance. This candidate must be able to problem solve and take initiative.

Requirements:

  • Must be loyal, dependable, and confidential.
  • Very strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • High level skills with English language and proof reading.

Preferences:

  • Three years relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred.
  • Interest in world affairs.
  • Experience with international travel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
