A leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations and help drive strategic business decisions. The Controller will lead all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance activities while ensuring the integrity of the company's financial operations. This role combines day-to-day accounting leadership with strategic financial planning to support operational excellence and long-term growth.
\n- Oversee all accounting operations, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Prepare accurate financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decisions
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
- Manage cash flow and support long-term financial planning initiatives
- Coordinate external audits and oversee tax and regulatory reporting
- Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations
- Lead and develop the accounting team while driving continuous process improvements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Master's degree, CPA, CMA, or similar professional designation preferred
- 7 years of progressive accounting or finance leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
