Accounting Manager We have partnered with a leading distributor within the fresh produce sector who i seeking an experienced Accounting Manager on a part-time basis to oversee the daily operations of its accounting department. Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations of the accounting departmentLead month-end close processes and ensure timely financial reportingManage accounts receivable, accounts payable, deposits, and banking activityMaintain strong professional banking relationshipsOversee and execute credit processes, including references, research, and credit decisionsEnsure compliance with record retention requirements and maintain accounting documentationEstablish and enforce proper accounting policies, methods, and principlesIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiencyAssign and manage projects for accounting staff, ensuring accuracy and complianceBuild strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal business leadersPerform additional job-related duties and special projects as assignedQualifications:Proven experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance ManagerBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferredStrong knowledge of bookkeeping and GAAP accounting principlesHighly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonalAbility to lead, supervise, motivate, and inspire a teamTech-savvy with a willingness to learn new systems and toolsCompany DescriptionGHJ Search and Staffing (formerly Creative Financial Staffing - CFS Los Angeles) is the recruiting arm of GHJ, a national accounting and advisory firm. Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
