Job Purpose:
Oversee and coordinate the planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Ghisallo Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, and schedule employees to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing support.
- Cultivate cultures by empowering managers & teams to be self sufficient
- Hold the teams accountable to do their job well
- Conduct walk-throughs of all properties verifying readiness & cleanliness
- Manage inventory levels and place orders for wine, beer, beverages, disposables (e.g., to-go containers, gloves), office supplies, and plateware/glassware/flatware.
- Conduct end-of-period inventory
- Update food and drink menus regularly, including printing for service
- Manage and edit menus on Toast POS, the Ghisallo website and all delivery platforms.
- Process payroll efficiently and accurately.
- Work with the Accounting team and R365 to resolve invoice issues and manage cash deposits.
- Handles cash reconciliation including bank deposits
- Oversee all aspects of reservations, events, and catering orders to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for all our external partners, including vendors, health inspectors, and other regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance and maintaining strong working relationships.

- Hire and train staff for Ocean Park location

- Conduct walk-throughs of all properties verifying readiness & cleanliness
- Create schedules that optimize productivity across both locations.
- Review and approve timesheets for both Ocean Park
- Approve invoices for disposable items, coffee/tea supplies, and bagel station needs.
- Collaborate with the Lead Bagel Line Cook, Lead Cashier, and Lead Barista to ensure accurate ordering.
- Submit all orders to Wholesale/Operations Manager (Zoe) through Cybake to ensure the location receives the correct pars per day
- Coordinate with Ellis team if there are any issues with deliveries or orders
- Manage Ocean Park menu updates as needed, including delivery platforms
- Serves as the primary point of contact for all our external partners, including vendors, health inspectors, and other regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance and maintaining strong working relationships.
Working Conditions and Expectations:
- Work schedule may require weekends and holidays, early morning and late evenings.
- Shifts will range from 9 – 12 hours
- Must have the stamina to work 50 to 60 hours per week.

Qualifications:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the restaurant’s trading area.
- Have knowledge of service, food & beverage, generally involving at least three years of front-of-the-house operations and/or assistant management positions.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate a POS system.
- Food Service Manager Certification
- Harassment Certification within 30 days of start of employment
Physical Requirements:
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

- Chef, all hourly employee positions
