What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Property Manager position at GHC Living?
Summary: The Assistant Property Manager will assist the Property Manager with property management and maintenance services for Green Harvest Capital properties.
Essential Duties
- Maintain property records, including sales, rental, or usage activity; maintenance and operating costs; special permits issued; and property availability.
- Improve and maintain community relations with tenants, municipalities, and vendors.
- Assist in managing operations using AppFolio for applications, credit and background checks, leasing, collections, notices, evictions, and work orders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Describe and impose guidelines, rules, and regulations on tenants, visitors, and the community.
- Assist in showing properties, explaining terms of occupancy, and providing information about the community to prospective tenants.
- Coordinate with the Property Manager to collect fees for monthly assessments, rentals, deposits, insurance, taxes, or other operating expenses.
Experience & Qualifications
- One plus years in a supervisory role, preferably in property management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.
