Ghaly Sleep has an immediate opening for a full-time Nurse Practitioner. We are one of the largest independent sleep medicine practices in Upstate New York, providing adult and pediatric consultative and sleep testing services.

Responsibilities
- Analyzes and evaluates patient data, sleep test findings (to diagnose nature or extent of sleep disorder) and to assesses treatments
- Initiates referrals for further sleep testing and other specialist consultations, including psychological testing for insomnia as needed
- Collaborates with physicians, psychologist or other professionals to discuss treatment plans and progress
- Attends and participates in staff meetings
- Communicates clearly and accurately with clients, visitors, and colleagues: displaying friendly, helpful behavior
- Uses judgment and tact, particularly when communicating sensitive information.
- Displays sensitivity to the needs of clients, visitors and colleagues, treating everyone with consideration, courtesy and respect
- Assists in the education of patients and family members
- Provides pharmacologic consultation and intervention, including prescription of medications related to sleep
- Evaluates the effectiveness of prescribed medication while considering potential negative side effects
- Completes all documentation regarding all assessments in a timely and competent manner. Knows and adheres to all federal, state, and local statutes and regulatory agency standards

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
