GH2 Architects, LLC, a full-service architecture, and design firm with over 50 years of experience and offices in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Phoenix, and Denver, is seeking a Drafter to join our growing team in GH2’s Tulsa, OK, office. This position will work directly with our architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, marketing, accounting and administrative teams. The right candidate for this position must excel at working in a fast-paced team environment, be a self-starter, able to multi-task, be organized, able to prioritize deadlines effectively, be flexible to support additional firm efforts as needed, and be willing to be in the Tulsa office on a full-time basis. Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while maintaining
attention to detail. Proactive planning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are a must.
Primary areas of responsibility include the below tasks. Flexibility and time management skills to accomplish both are of utmost importance.
Position Responsibilities
– Generate detailed construction drawings based on project specifications
– Create and maintain Revit models for construction projects
– Collaborate with Architects to ensure design intent is accurately reflected in drawings
– Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with industry standards
– Implement design changes and modifications as required
– Coordinate with project managers to meet project deadlines and milestones
– Assist in resolving design issues during construction phases
– Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth project workflow
– Ensure all drawings are organized and stored appropriately for future reference
– Conduct quality checks on drawings to eliminate errors and inconsistencies
– Stay updated on Revit software advancements and industry best practices
– Assist in developing drafting standards and templates for the team
– Provide support during design reviews and client meetings
– Participate in training sessions to enhance Revit drafting skills
– Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment within the drafting team.
Position Qualifications
– 5 years of experience in similar role
– Proven experience working with Revit software in a professional setting.
– Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams.
– Ability to effectively prioritize with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
– Attention to detail and sense of urgency.
– Ability to work with minimal guidance; proactive, motivated self-starter.
– Flexibility and ability to handle and manage change effectively and efficiently.
– Experience with Revit at an architecture, design, or engineering firm, with a
