R & D Manager

·         Lead key projects with R&D to support business goals.

·         Develop research programs incorporating current developments to improve existing products and study potential new products.

·         Establish projects goals and priorities by collaborating with Propagation, Cultivation, Processing and Sale departments.

·         Research, design and evaluate trials of new cannabis cultivars.

·         Research, design and evaluate materials, products, processes, and equipment.

·         Be the point person for designing, developing, and maintaining a database to collect real time information for R&D projects and tests.

·         Collaborate with the appropriate parties on researching, trialing and introducing new cannabis cultivars for cultivation.

·         Collect data and examine it to spot trends and glean information that can be used to make business decisions.

·         Assess the scope of research projects and ensure they are on time and within budget.

·         Document all phases of research and development.

·         Analyze and identify opportunities for improvement by conducting observations.

·         Presenting the findings and conclusions to decision makers.

·         Identify, integrate, and apply solutions for quality performance and continual reporting.

·         Work together with management to centralize and organize data.

·         Independently implement improvements and communicate project prioritization.

·         Perform other duties as assigned.
