The Role
As a Senior Estimator, you will play a critical role in driving project success from concept through contract. You’ll lead estimating efforts on complex projects, collaborate with internal teams, and engage with clients and trade partners to develop competitive, accurate bids.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle estimating for large and complex projects
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to prepare detailed cost estimates
- Manage subcontractor solicitation, bid reviews, and scope alignment
- Develop conceptual and schematic estimates with limited design information
- Identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving strategies
- Collaborate with project management, operations, and business development teams
- Present estimates and proposals to senior leadership and clients
What We’re Looking For
- 8 years of estimating experience within a General Contractor environment
- Strong background in commercial, industrial, or mission critical projects
- Expertise in conceptual estimating and GMP development
- Proficiency with estimating software and takeoff tools
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
