Responsibilities
Operations, Administration and Guest Service
Manage the store, ensuring the entire operation meets the company’s standards of quality and procedures;
To supervise sales, service, and hospitality, FOH visual display of food and counter space and pastry displays
To ensure that the store is thoroughly clean including windows, doors, floors, and sidewalks are swept and entrance and front of restaurant is clean and appealing, everyday;
Learn how to do prep and sandwich making and fill in when needed.
Adhere to all food and workplace safety precautions as outlined in the IIPP by modeling proper procedures and ensure all team members are aware of the program.
To ensure genuine hospitality and excellent guest service going above and beyond for all guests;
To ensure the store is following proper cash handling protocols including making bank deposits;
To oversee online menus including delivery platforms, and that the POS is operating correctly;
To be aware of matters that are important to the team in order for the store to function properly;
To ensure organization and cleanliness of all areas of the store and the maintenance and sanitation of all food production
equipment and smallware’s, Maintain ‘A’ Rating. This includes both FOH and BOH.
To ensure store opens and closes on time daily or when the last guest has been served and exits;
Supervise the opening/closure of POS cash outs and cash tips are dispersed by a staff member correctly and according to policy;
Ensure all closing reports are run and all Team Members have clocked in and out for shift and their break;
To prepare and post the Team Schedule no later than Thursday of each week or pay period with the approval of the Area
Manager, ensuring that the store functions well and labor goals are met;
Oversee catering execution for the store, operating between the customer/client, the Catering Manager, and the BOH team
Be able and willing to perform any position to guarantee the quality, cleanliness, and safety of the operation.
To order the specified products required for the store to operate including packaging and office supplies; repairs and maintenance items;
Receive all packaging and office supplies purchases, check that they are all listed on the invoice recap in accordance with the orders and enter the invoice recap on the system;To forward the invoice recap to the office once a week;
To assist KM in executing weekly and monthly food and beverage inventories according to our procedures and, in case of discrepancies, notify the Operations Director;
Qualifications
Ability and willingness to work all shifts to ensure product quality and guest satisfaction;
The ability to taste, speak, see, hear, read, and write English – Spanish a plus;
Mobility and manual dexterity: ability to bend, stoop, climb stairs or ladders, perform extensive walking and up to 10 hours aday or more standing and/or performing other physical tasks as needed;
Ability to lift 30lbs and carry 10 feet;
The ability to comprehend and articulate complex ideas and POS systems;
Understanding of mathematics; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division;
The ability to work at least 50 hours a week or more as needed;
Ability to calmly handle stressful situations, conflict resolution issues and be an excellent LISTENER ;
Ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus;
