Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
- Own full P&L responsibility for the Home Center channel (THD, Lowe’s, Menards)
- Develop and execute multi-year growth strategy aligned to enterprise priorities
- Identify and unlock new revenue streams, assortments, and channel expansion opportunities
- Lead annual business planning, including customer JBP (Joint Business Planning) processes
Customer Leadership & Relationship Management
- Serve as executive sponsor for key customer relationships across Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Menards
- Build and maintain senior-level partnerships with merchant, supply chain, and executive stakeholders
- Negotiate large-scale agreements including pricing, promotions, assortment, and placement
- Drive best-in-class customer engagement and differentiation in a highly competitive environment
Sales Execution & Field Leadership
- Lead Directors, National Account Managers and field sales teams supporting Home Center accounts
- Ensure strong linkage between headquarters strategy and in-store/field execution
- Drive accountability for distribution, merchandising excellence, and retail execution standards
- Monitor performance metrics and adjust tactics to ensure delivery of plan
Cross-Functional Alignment
- Partner closely with Marketing, Brand, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product teams
- Ensure cohesive go-to-market strategies across innovation, promotions, and seasonal programs
- Influence product development and portfolio strategy based on customer and market insights
- Drive alignment on forecasting, inventory planning, and service levels
Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Home Center sales organization
- Coach and develop NAMs and Directors across key accounts (THD, Lowe’s, Menards)
- Establish clear performance expectations and accountability frameworks
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Analytics & Performance Management
- Leverage data and insights to drive decision-making across pricing, promotions, and assortment
- Track performance vs. plan, identify risks/opportunities, and implement corrective actions
- Utilize POS data, market trends, and customer insights to optimize execution
Qualifications & Experience
- 12–15 years of progressive sales leadership experience, with significant exposure to Home Center customers
- Deep expertise in managing large national accounts (Home Depot, Lowe’s strongly preferred; Menards a plus)
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing complex customer relationships
- Experience leading both strategic account teams and field execution organizations
- Strong business acumen, including P&L management and financial planning
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership
