During your internship, you will work on a highly functioning team and aid in providing planning services for a wide variety of transportation projects. You'll receive guidance, supervision and mentorship by experienced engineers and professionals with your success as the goal. The majority of our interns convert to full-time employees.

What You’ll Be Challenged To Do

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Assist in preparing basic planning studies and gathering data for capital planning activities.
- Collaborate with senior planners and project managers on various transportation projects.
- Participate in community engagement by attending public meetings and collecting stakeholder input.
- Support the development of reports, presentations, and documentation related to the capital program.
What You'll Bring To Our Firm
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- A demonstrated interest in transportation planning through prior internships, work experience, or applied academic coursework.
- Basic understanding of transportation planning principles and practices.
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite and basic graphics software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with transportation modeling software or GIS applications.
- Prior experience or coursework related to transportation planning or transit-oriented projects.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams and engage with diverse stakeholders.
