The salary range for this role is $77,000 - $132,000; Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Lead or support bridge inspections using rope access methods (SPRAT)
- Plan and lead bridge inspections
- Develop safety plans and rope access plans
- Perform engineering evaluations, load ratings, and structural assessments
- Prepare and review inspection reports
- Coordinate field activities with inspection teams and rope access personnel
- Support mentorship of junior inspectors and rope access technicians
- Collaborate with project managers and other team leaders to complete inspection assignments
- Maintain and organize inspection gear
- Travel throughout the United States for inspection assignments
What You Will Bring To Our Firm
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- SPRAT Level I certification with experience performing rope access inspections
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 3 years of bridge inspection experience
- Completion of NHI Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges (FHWA-NHI-130055)
- Completion of NHI Fracture Critical Inspection Techniques for Steel Bridges and/or NSTM Inspection (FHWA-NHI-130078)
- Experience operating bucket trucks, manlifts, and under-bridge inspection vehicles
- Ability to interpret plans, specifications, stress paths, and bridge behavior
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in field and office environments
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work at height, carry equipment, and move safely in varied environments
- Experience in load rating software such as AASHTO BrR
- FAA Part 107 drone certification
- Experience with NDT methods
- Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation
