We are seeking a skilled Batch Plant Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining the batch plant equipment, ensuring the production of high-quality concrete products.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the batch plant equipment to ensure the production of high-quality concrete products
- Monitor the production process and make necessary adjustments to ensure product quality and consistency
- Perform routine maintenance on the equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and repair any equipment malfunctions in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate records of production and inventory levels
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- At least 5 years of experience operating and maintaining batch plant equipment required
- Must be proficient with basic math, including but not limited to addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure
- Experience with Command Alkon highly preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively on radio/phone system
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
