GFT is seeking a Senior Transit Strategy Manager to support and advance the growth, positioning, and delivery of its Transit & Rail Market Sector. Reporting directly to the Director of Transit & Rail, this role combines market and client strategy leadership with hands-on project management responsibilities.
The Senior Transit Strategy Manager aligns transit strategy with successful project execution, serving as both a trusted advisor to clients and a day-to-day leader of transit and rail projects.
- Support execution of GFT's Transit & Rail growth strategy.
- Assist with go-to-market planning, pursuit strategy, and win themes.
- Position GFT as a trusted advisor to public agencies.
- Develop internal tools and best practices.
- Participate in client presentations and industry events.
- Serve as Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager.
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and risk.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and subconsultants.
- Implement QA/QC procedures.
- Lead meetings and manage client communications.
- Maintain strong relationships with transit agencies.
- Support executive-level coordination.
- Translate technical information for diverse audiences.
- Mentor project managers and staff.
- Support staff development.
- Promote a collaborative team culture.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 10 years of transit or rail experience.
- Project management experience.
- Strong communication skills.

- FTA-funded project experience.
- Business development experience.
- PMP certification.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is is $189,000-$265,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
