GFT is seeking a Senior Construction Managerto join our Construction Services Team in Fairfax! (Relocation is offered as this is a multi-year project)

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Provide pre-bid services such as reviewofbid documents, constructability reviews,andcostestimates.
- Assistance during the bidding phase.
- Processshop drawings and other contractors' deliverables.
- Assistance in theconstruction change management to includenegotiationsandpreparationofchange orders.
- Resident engineering and inspection services.
- Construction schedule review and analysis.
- Quality assurance.
- Material testing.
- Maintenance of project files.
- Participation in value engineeringstudiesand support with Envision process.
- Claims avoidance, analysis and resolution.
- Utilityservicescoordinationduring construction.
- Manage/coordinate the impact of construction on plant's operation.
- Commissioningservicesto include SCADA services, startup
- Project closeoutand post-construction services
- Other servicesrelated tothe completionof construction and operation of the facility.
- Other professional services as requested by the County
- Construction management field office support-officerental, maintenance
- Assistance with alternative delivery methods
- Support County safety personnel to ensuresafety compliance by implementing and monitoringhealth, safety, and environmental plans, conducting site safety audits, and coordinating withcontractors to mitigate hazards.
- Permitting support and coordination
- A minimum of 20 years demonstrated experience in project management, construction management, business, or related field managing large projects.
- Experience in Wastewater Treatment Plant CM or Construction
- PE mandatory
- CCM preferred
- Program Management experience preferred
