What you'll be challenged to do:
As a Resident Engineer, you will oversee the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. If you're an experienced professional seeking an opportunity to grow with a team that values expertise and innovation, we'd love to hear from you.
In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Provide overall leadership and management for construction projects.
- Maintain comprehensive construction project records.
- Oversee interactions with clients and inspection staff on contract change orders, item payments, and material testing.
- Conduct project meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
- Develop monthly progress reports.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Structural, or Construction Engineering.
- Professional Engineering (PE) License in New Jersey.
- 15 years of experience in construction management.
- Prior experience as an Assistant Resident Engineer or Resident Engineer.
- Experience working with the New Jersey Turnpike Authority or NJDOT.
- Experience with airport projects.
- Certifications such as Rutgers TCC, NJSAT, ACI (preferred).
The salary range for this role is$150,000 - $200,000 per year. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
